MUSHROOMS TOUR

This tour takes you to Cerro de Jesus mountain where you will visit several farms to observe a surprisingly large variety of local mushrooms. You will be accompanied by a specialist tourist guide, trained trough the cooperative PROCOCER. Some mushrooms you might observe (depending on the season) are quite rare and seldom seen in other areas.

The tour is an excellent opportunity to participate in this exclusive tour in Nicaragua.

The tour takes you to some of the higher parts of the mountain and a sound physical condition is required.

Activities:

Observation of mushrooms and local flora and fauna.

Visits to small local farms and observation of traditional agricultural practices.
