ECOLOGICAl farm "SONZAPOTE"

This farm is located North of the community El Limon and is part of the tourism circuit  Los Nubarrones , the highest mountain in this area. On the farm you will find extensive forest areas, both pine and natural broadleaved forests and several rivers. Its owner, don José Zeledón, better known locally as don  Chepe , has made use of these rivers to construct several water ponds and swimming pools which offers a good opportunity for a refreshing dip in the clear and cold waters.

It is a unique opportunity to see how farmers with a clear view of the need to preserve their natural resources try to manage them in a ecologically sound manner. Your visit will help don Chepe to continue with his efforts to make a decent living without destroying the flora and fauna in his farm.
